Dull Presentation, Dull Product

“Nobody was ever bored into buying a product. Yet most advertising is impersonal, detached, cold – and dull. It pays to involve the customer.”
– David Ogilvy

We’ve all sat through a long, boring presentation.  No structure.  No interaction.  No stories.  Just slide after slide of bullet points and information.  Instead of being motivated and inspired to act, you were anxious to be finished and upset at the waste of time.  Yet how many of us have turned around and given the same presentation?  A presentation is an opportunity to differentiate.  If your delivery is dull, your product will come off as dull.  Tell a story and get your audience involved in the process. Your audience will appreciate it.  And you never know, maybe you’ll have a little fun.
