If you need to come up with fresh new ideas, you need to be able to see the whole picture as well as the individual pieces, and put those pieces together to create something new. Daniel Pink calls this symphony, or the ability to put the pieces together or detect patterns. If you’re having trouble creating, you might be stuck in the details. Take a step back and look at the big picture. Then try and find the right questions to ask (and answer).
